Saturday Snapshot on Sunday :)
I was driving to the mall yesterday to meet my best friend for lunch. It was fairly cold this weekend but the sun was out and the trees are in bloom. I had a guy in a red toyota truck with the confederate flag cut me off in traffic. I had a older woman bump my shoulder because "she just didn't see me standing there" and I wasted my gas rushing to Garden Ridge because it was closed for Easter...Only in the South I swear. But I am sure a pic like this one illustrates why I love living here...Labels: pics, reflecting, southern life

Looks like that way here too. Green, flowers and even the confederate flags (I really hate those things!).
Although it is beautiful right now I still miss home. You would think after 15 years of being here I wouldn't miss it so much - but I do.

My son and I trouble finding a open resturant last night too. His partner was suppose to fix mexican and forgot, so we went out and it took three tries to find an open one.
No flowers for me yet though, maybe in another 6 weeks.
it was always pretty in the south, but I love real seasons.
I can see a bit of green around the edges of my lawn where the last dump of snow is finally starting to recede. ok, it's not green, more like sad yellow, but there's hope, finally, that winter is ending here. that much sun and greenery has gotta compensate for the other b.s. because after all there are jerks everywhere... :)
The frost killed off a lot of ours around here. It is beautiful where you are.
Well at least it isn't snowing in your photo... it is in mine. Spring!??? Where are you?
A grass verge fit to picnic on [as long as you don't get squished by the traffic] Cheers
beautiful scene! we have the sun, but it's just a tease, making you forget it's actually only in the low 30s still (make that "again")!
That's what I need to see more of:
sunshine, green grass and pretty flowers!!!!!!!
We had snowshowers here on Friday and Sunday! Poor flowers, bushes and trees must be so confused.
What a perfect picture.
