It was a very Merry Christmas...

A picture is worth a thousand words right? Well my 10 year old is over the moon with his new electronic drum kit. And my 15 year old is trying to figure out when he got too old for toys. I did buy him a few DVD and CDs. But autistic or not he was still a bit put out with the lack of "fun" gifts. Luckily his aunt and grandparents gave him toys r us gift cards. So I took him out yesterday to make amends.

Goodness! You're a good mom! I'm not so sure I could do the drum thing here for long. Noisy toy dinosaurs are nearly pushing me to the limit!

And I still secretly hope for there to be a toy in any packages I get!

This is a great shot...captures a lot!

fadkog-Oh it is electronic and there are headphones, LOL. It is the only way to go. But I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to the boys. The drumset was about the only thing he asked for so...

My kids both got gift cards and it pleased them both enormously, though older son could not rest easy til he could get out in Boxing Day and use it up. It gets so hard when they get too old for toys, or at least, when the nature of their toys changes. I kinda miss the Fisher-Price days occasionally.
